Grain-Free Porridge

This alternative for regular oatmeal porridge is full of essential fatty acids to keep you satisfied, nourish your hormones, and promote healthy brain function.

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • 1 teaspoon grass-fed organic ghee

  • 3 tablespoons shredded coconut

  • 3 tablespoons almond meal

  • 1 tablespoon linseed meal

  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds

  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 3-4 fresh organic figs

Method:

  • Combine all ingredients except for the figs in a small saucepan over a medium heat while stirring for 3-5 minutes until the porridge has thickened.

  • Pour the porridge into a bowl, serve with fresh figs or other fruit and enjoy!
